Decking manager was over here

Well, today the decking manager, John Batista, was over here so we could discuss the screwed up color of the flagstone.

John started out by stating that the color was within the range of acceptable colors for the color we chose, and that the pamphlet wasn't necessarily the same color because colors lose their vibrance in the translation in the printing process.

HA! Got him here. "Then why when we went to the Shasta model center, was the color we wanted there on one of the model pools?"

"Uh, that wasn't actually the color you requested, that was a different color."

After several minutes of back and forth like this, he pointed out quite a few issues with the current flagstone implementation. The vertical flagstones were too large. It looked like someone used a trowel and the marks were still there. The underside edge was missed in quite a few spots.

He offered to redo the flagstone for those other reasons, and since they were redoing it anyway, he said we could have the color changed.

Gee, thanks. Oh well, I don't care the reason that he justified it with as long as it gets changed.
